Victoria Fine Arts Center
The VISD Fine Arts Center (VFAC) is a state of the art production facility which features a traditional 60-foot wide proscenium stage. The seating will accommodate 1,481 and the design of a low tier mezzanine area ensures there is a not a bad seat in the house.
With 29 line sets over the stage for rigging and 2 front of house catwalks the VFAC is ideally suited to handle any type of production. The full height loading dock (including full size load in doors to the stage) and private rear drive make it the perfect destination for any touring event coming into Victoria.
The stage also has a mobile acoustical sound shell which serves to enhance the outstanding acoustical characteristics of the space, thus truly showcasing such events as the Victoria Bach Festival and the Victoria Symphony Orchestra performances.
The venue also includes 3 large A/V screens for presentations such as power point and other media displays or even showcasing theatrical movies on the large center screen. Other amenities include large dressing and changing rooms as well as private star dressing rooms, green room, laundry facilities, large wing spaces off stage, and a lobby with built in millwork capable of displaying art and other framed pieces.
Included in the lobby is a small kitchenette attached to the concession area. The VFAC also includes monitors throughout the facility for live video feeds of the stage area. In addition to the VFAC facility there is a Fine Arts Annex building next door which is also available for over flowing events or simply when additional space is needed.Click here for more information about the Victoria Fine Arts Center
