Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts
This April 4, see the 1939 cinema classic "Gone with the Wind" for only $0.25! During the intermission, stroll across Main St. and enjoy a barbeque dinner reminiscent of the dinner at Twelve Oaks from the movie. Moviegoers are encourage to dress as their favorite characters from the film. And last but not least, see the actual carriage that carried Scartlett to the Twelve Oaks barbeque in the Leo J. Welder Center! Tickets will only be sold at the door and seating is limited, so be sure to get there early!
The Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts, which opened in 2004, is home to Theatre Victoria and is frequently used by a variety of performing arts groups.
Several venues within the Center are available to rent for arts or business events including the:
-Dr. Charles and Mary Katherine Borchers Performance Hall which seats 476.
-Rehearsal Hall which is outfitted with full length mirrors.
